NEW !! Baby tiger matching pants

Continuing my little experiment with beautiful Malabrigo Finito,
a little pair of "Baby tiger" leggings

still same matching liberty, this time as a bow on the side of the leg

Same cable pattern on each side as well as the almost ribbing

I added an icord at the last minute thinking it will be easier for the leggings to stay on

NEW !! Baby tiger sweater

A little experiment for a brand new "Baby tiger" Sweater, matching the "Baby tiger" booties

It is classic wrap sweater or "cache coeur" in French

I added lots of Liberty of London ribbon

Lots of cables, front and back for the raglan, and also some that match perfectly at the neck

Love all the details in this new cardigan

Mina little star sweater

It first started here,  inspired when my little cousin Mina was born.
This little star sweater is ultra soft in pure merino lace yarn.
Pure joy on delicate little baby skin.
Light weight but very warm just over a onesie.

I enjoyed designing the little star sweater with little details
like a shinning star and helbow patches,
it is also easy to put on with a shoulder opening.

Yarn, Malabrigo lace, color Pearl ten and natural
Pattern, my own, currently in testing
Size, 3 to 6 months

I picked the pearl color and the smaller size for the first sweater
but they should soon come in 5 colors and
4 sizes (3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months)

Baby tiger booties

Pattern available

Adorable 100% fine merino handknit booties, light grey color with Liberty of London ribbon (Meadow purple, red or Capel Mustard).

Keeping baby feet warm and cosy is essential especially in the first days of a baby life. Ribbon will assure the booties are still one even if baby is on the move.

Knitted in the round from top, cable cuff first, then top of the foot and finally finishing with the sides and the sole.

I tried to avoid seaming as often as possible, to provide more comfort for babies.

Size
Fits baby from 0 to 6 months old

Gauge
28 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm/4", in st sts using US3 (3.25 mm)

Required materials
1 ball of Malabrigo Finito, fingering yarn, about 60 m or 70 yards
 US 3 (3.25 mm), a set of 5 DPN
 Cable needle
 2x50cm of ribbon or bias

Christmas gift, part 2

This christmas I had a lot of gifts to knit. My sister got addicted to the show "Once upon a time", so we went on a search of Emma, Ruby and Mary Margaret hat patterns.

First we went for Mary Margaret beret, easily finding a free pattern on Ravelry

I used Malabrigo worsted, US 8 needles.

Second she wanted Ruby's beret but in a cherry color.
Free pattern on Ravelry

I couldn't find the right color so I decided to dye it myself with Kool-aid.
(3 packages of Cherry and 1 Black cherry, for 200 yards of Cascade Cash vera, microwave process)

I simply love the color even if the picture is a bit bright due to the Instagram filter.
